Wisconsin Character Education Partnership

We promote the intentional, proactive effort by public and private K-12 schools and school districts to instill in all Wisconsin’s students, core universal ethical values such as integrity, honesty, fairness, responsibility and respect for themselves and for others through character education.

Our vision is for all Wisconsin students demonstrate the knowledge, skills and dispositions of core universal values through a self-sustaining culture utilizing the following strategies:

• Synergize character education with resources already in place.
• Promote and increase training opportunities for teachers and principals in character education and leadership.
• Provide/secure resources to address these goals.
• Build a platform to further communication and collaboration among educators, parents, community leaders and other interested parties/ organizations.
• Working with business, education and community leaders to support the development of caring and responsible citizens.

The passion of the committee of volunteers will be the source of our leadership and execution.
