Wisconsin Promising Practices Awards
2012 Application Process

Deadline is February 20, 2012

If your school or district has developed and successfully implemented a unique character education practice, we encourage you to apply for a Wisconsin Promising Practices award. We are not looking for a description of your entire character education initiative, but rather for a specific practice or aspect of your program that other schools may learn from and even replicate. Applications are due February 20, 2012.

How to Apply:

  1. Complete the Wisconsin Promising Practices 2012 Application Cover Sheet.
  2. Download the Wisconsin Promising Practice Awards 2012 Application Guidelines and prepare your application in accordance with these guidelines.
  3. Submit your Cover Sheet and Application (narrative answers to the required questions) to wicharacter@yahoo.com by the February 20, 2012 deadline.

You may apply for recognition for more than one Promising Practice, however, you must submit a separate application for each Promising Practice.

Remember, this is the process to be considered for a Wisconsin Promising Practices 2012 Award.  For national consideration, you must go to the Character Education Partnership website at www.character.org for information on the national promising practices award.
